I'd say ninety-percent of comic book based video games never cross the minds of video game enthusiasts out there, but Batman Arkham Asylum is first-in-class to break that mold. Batman Arkham Asylum is up for two nominations in G4's X-Play "Best of 2009 Awards." Not sure how prestigious this award ceremony is, but they've got other heavy hitters in their nominations list. Batman Arkham Asylum is, hands down, the best Batman game to date. I have a feeling future superhero based games will utilize the same game engine, and yes, superhero games have the potential to be awesome if made correctly.
