Wonder Con 2009 in a nutshell!

Wonder Con 2009 is a favorite event of mine, not only because it's local, but because it sets the stage for convention season (for me at least). This year was a little different. I got to make use of complimentary passes, making the event virtually free. In addition, I currently work near the Moscone Center (not to be confused with "at") which provided free parking (yes, I have a day job). This year was about frugality and convenience. Considering we're amidst a global economic meltdown, I'm glad I was able to attend unscathed financially. In lieu of our economic climate, I was surprised the convention was crowded. I don't think Wonder Con sold out, but there were definitely lines and crowds. Are comic conventions recession proof?

Overall, Wonder Con 2009 was fun. I'll get into more details as soon as I upload my pics. Stay tuned...

...Summer Glau is a hottie!
